In Bamako, the Africa Stockpiles Programme in Mali was officially launched during an ASP Partner Supervision mission, which included representatives from World Bank, FAO, CropLife, WWF and PAN-Africa. The CropLife Africa Middle East annual General Assembly and the second Executive Committee meetings for 2007 took place in Germany. CropLife Africa Middle East cooperates with the IFDC MIR Project in West Africa to build capacity in the agricultural inputs sector. A mini SEARCH workshop was held in Uganda for the East Africa Group (EAG). The 2007 annual East & Southern Africa hub meeting was held in Entebbe, Uganda. CropLife Africa Middle East attended and participated in the CropLife International Committees and Project Team meetings in Brussels. IPM and Responsible Use training in Cameroon. Collaborative International Pesticides Analytical Council (CIPAC) meeting in South Africa. New Chairman for CropLife Zambia.
