FANRPAN
FANRPAN is compiling a national directory of organisations,
institutions and individuals that have a stake in food, agriculture and
natural resources (FANR).
Africa Stockpiles Programme
The Africa Stockpiles Programme (ASP) is a strategic partnership,
bringing together the skills, expertise, and resources of a diverse
group of stakeholders, to offer a sustainable solution to the estimated
50,000 tonnes of obsolete pesticide stockpiles that have accumulated
throughout the African continent over the last four decades. The
stockpiles consist of toxic pesticides and associated contaminated
materials, most of which are in poor condition and threaten local and
regional environments through the contamination of soil, water, food
and air.
Arab Oranization for Agricultural Development
The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) was
established in 1970, upon the desire of the Arab countries. Realizing
the vital role of agriculture within the region's economy, the Arab
countries recognized the need for coordination between their different
policies in agriculture, natural and human resources as well as
economic development, in order to achieve the ultimate goal of a fully
integrated Arab economies

The Uganda Agricultural Productivity Enhancement Program
The Uganda Agricultural Productivity Enhancement Program
(APEP) is a five-year USAID-funded activity that commenced
implementation in November 2003. APEP aims to expand
rural economic opportunities and increase household income
in the agricultural sector by increasing food and cash crop
productivity and marketing.
